My six year old disappeared the Roku remote. It is finally my kid-free time and I need a show and a cocktail. I find this - oh my! Brilliant! The tech is amazing.

My wireless network setup made it hard for this app to find my Roku, but the author had some great advice and helped me get it working. Thanks!

Every now and then you pick up an app that works even better than you hoped. This is it! I installed it on my iTouch and iPad and now have two remotes that far surpass the remotes that came with the Roku.

now im going to say this once....if you have a roku player...buy this app....better than the remote you get from roku.. this app worked instantly....worth the price...over and out...you have been alerted by honest abe.

This app works flawlessly!! I was having trouble hooking up my actual remote that came with the Roku. So I bought this app and it worked perfectly instantly!!

Seamless integration with your Roku box. Install. Use. And it provides snappy response, not like universal remotes. Highly recommended.

Works perfectly. There wasnt even any set up of the remote. Reminds me how awesome bothmy iPhone and roku box are! A must get! Saved me when i lost my remote but even if I find it I will still use this app instead.

I like it. I have a new Roku XS with the bluetooth remote. Ive had a problem where it will stop responding to the remote but have not been able to find a pattern. But this finds the Roku and the Roku responds. then the bluetooth remote starts responding. I do think that it is the Roku bluetooth itself that is napping, but this regains control.

Our Roku remote died when its batteries corroded. This app was, if not a lifesaver, a tv-watching saver! Worked perfectly.

This app really makes Roku the way to go for TV streaming. No longer does the Roku unit need to be in line of sight with the tiny remote you get with the streamer. Now the app remote transmits throught your wireless router so you can keep the Roku box out of the way and out of sight. It also provides a keyboard that is a classic keyboard layout. No more hunting and pecking for each and every letter using the arrows buttons. Gives you access to a full standard keybord. Takes a lot of hassel out of searches, etc. Good feedback audio when keys are hit. When you press the home key on the app, you get a menu of all of your Roku stations. Congrats to Nas Banov

Download App. Launch App. No Setup. No Problems. Immediately found my ROKU! Great alternative to remote other remote apps and to the remote that shipped with the unit especially the button to go back a few seconds without having to rewind or backtrack through scenes. I like the audio feedback when a key is pressed. Great job to the app developers!

Ok these other reviews must be from people who tried the app for only a few seconds. Crazy how bad this app is as a remote. The buttons on the remote dont wort 90% of the time and when the do work it acts like you pressed the same button a hundred times and keeps clicking like your still pressing the button. What the heck

Worked PERFECTLY for months now it doesnt seem to work as well. Somedays it doesnt seem to function at all, on others its the best! Ive tried multiple different things like moving it away from my AppleTV or moving the Roku closer or farther from my iPhone but its all still a crapshoot as far as when it works.

Now I have this. It works-BUT I have only used it for two days. Like others have said it picked up my roku immediately. So 5 stars.

This worked immediately for me and is very responsive. Overall, it works better than the physical remote. The two things I like better on this app than on Rokus app is that the channel icons are better laid out here, and the IP entry. But the main screen, where most of the action takes place is not very attractive due to the ugly menu bar at the top. Theres a large keyboard icon that could be a small icon of a single key (Roku uses a noticeably smaller keyboard). And there it is, "Remote", right at the top where you cant miss it. But you dont need it. Its completely obvious that you are looking a remote. I guess the purple menu bar is there because its Rokus color brand, but even Roku uses an understated gray bar, not purple. The less attractive interface is why I dinged it one star. Less is more.
