Remote for Roku App Reviews

Pros: Works with Wi-Fi!!! Just download this app and make sure you connect to your router the boom! Im connect! Cons: Their a lag once your in the selection shortcut icon!!! I have the new roku box $99 version an this app work with it. Need: Now I need is support for "Bluetooth" and "acceleration" or motion control for Angrybird game I have on my roku. Note: the official Roku remote need to be setup & access to your account to be able to use that app.

The app its self is wonderful, works wonderfully. However, it did freeze once and I had to delete it and download it again.

I can count on one hand the number of apps Ive paid for in the last 3 years. Generally, if it isnt free I dont download it. But my dog ate the remote, and theyre expensive to replace. So I bit the bullet and bought this one. Its perfect! Love it!

If you are using this to replace a non functioning remote you might have reset your Roku trying to get it to work--doing this takes all your network info out of your Roku. Once that happens this app wont be able to "find" your Roku. Luckly, we have a 2nd Roku whose remote I was able to pair with this Roku so I could re-enter my network info--then it worked like a charm. That is one big downside of the Roku--it is WORThLESS without a working remote. Great app once I figured this stuff out.

Except, it suddenly stopped seeing the roku. Worked fine for a few weeks, and then just lost contact.

This app works better than the remote supplied with the device. There is no need to have point of site access to the roku and there is no frustration in having to repeat commands.

I downloaded it and it worked without me having to do anything. So far it works great! I love it!

I always lose my remote in my messy room and this app gets the job done whenever I dont feel like looking for it . I highly recommend . The set up process takes only seconds .

With two kids under six, we have already lost the battery backing, had to reset the roku, and spend more time looking for the remote than necessary. This is just. plain. awesome.

I am giving this five stars because the minute I downloaded it and used it, it worked without any setup. The remote that came with my Roku box freaks out all the time and just quits working, I have no idea why. This just works plain and simple, Im happy… Best $.99 Ive spent in a while

I lost my remote for my roku a couple of weeks ago, and I was looking online if I could buy a remote, but I saw an article about this app. As soon as I downloaded this app, it worked! I didnt have to set up anything, its amazing! Im so happy I didnt have to purchase a remote. :-)

Worked perfectly immediately. It recognized my Roku XS with no configuration on my part. No flaw that Ive seen. All software should work this cleanly and correctly. Very impressed.

Get this one. This is the one you are looking for. It looks and works like your Roku factory remote. I love it.

Gives a message: "channel launch failed..." Doesnt seem to do anything the included remote doesnt, so not sure what the point is anyway. Even if it did work. Which it doesnt.

It is beyond our expectation!! Edit : not any more. Need an update.

This hasnt been updated in 4 years. It is working so well on my 6+ Keyboard wont come up or when it does, the right side is missing. Its needed for search or entering your rokus ip into it. I used to refer this over rokus own app, but its no longer usable without an update. Which I doubt since it looks like this was abandoned from development

Its an awesome app! My remote control doesnt work anymore ,and this worked like a charm !!

After selecting a channel, the app freezes. Tried reinstalling to no avail.
